For many years now we have taken environmental aspects into account in our manufacturing processes, a commitment which in 1998 led to us obtaining ISO 14001 certification. But the work that we undertake in this area goes far beyond this, as we describe here.
Our quality management system was granted ISO 9002 certification in 1996, followed by ISO 9001 in 2001. Its twofold objective is Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.
In line with its objectives in terms of customer satisfaction, respect for the environment and the sustainability of the company, the guiding philosophy behind Décomatic has always ensured that the firm places particular emphasis in-house on the safety and well-being of its personnel and externally on irreproachable ethics combined with a commitment to good citizenry.
These aspects are what has come to be called sustainable development but which quite simply have shaped the culture of Décomatic since 1956 !
